A full plan you can refine.

Build a [number]-day itinerary for [destination] for [who], [budget], [pace]. We like [interests]. Lay it out day by day as a table with morning, afternoon, evening, and a food pick, and keep walking between stops short.

Skip the tourist traps.

Act as a local who has lived in [city] for 20 years, not a tour guide. Plan [number] days around where you'd take a visiting friend: neighbourhoods to wander, where locals eat, and one thing tourists always get wrong here. Skip anything that mainly exists for tourists.

With a cost breakdown.

Plan a [number]-day trip to [city] for [number] people on a total budget of [amount], excluding flights. Break the budget across accommodation, food, transport, and activities, and flag where I can cut without ruining the trip. Note the rough cost of each day.

Light walking, real downtime.

Plan [number] days in [city] for [number] adults and kids aged [ages]. Keep daily walking light, build in downtime after lunch, and mix one thing the adults want with one the kids will love each day. Suggest where to stay for easy access.

Local picks, not tourist spots.

Recommend places to eat in [city] for a [number]-day trip: one proper local breakfast, two casual lunches near the main sights, and two dinners worth planning around, [budget]. For each, tell me the dish to order and roughly where it is, and avoid obvious tourist restaurants. I'll confirm they're open before I go.

Tailored to the trip.

Make me a packing list for [destination] in [month] for a [length] trip, [carry-on only?]. Account for the weather, the activities ([list]), and anything specific to the destination like adapters or dress codes. Group it by category.

Least backtracking.

I want to visit [cities] over [number] days. Suggest the most efficient order to reduce backtracking and travel time, how many nights to spend in each, and the best way to travel between them.

24 hours, done right.

Plan one perfect day in [city] for someone who has only 24 hours and likes [interests]. Morning to night, walkable where possible, with a great lunch and dinner spot and one thing most visitors miss.

Catch the made-up bits.

Go back through this itinerary and flag anything I must verify before I rely on it: places that may have closed, prices that may be out of date, opening hours and seasonal closures, and any spot you're not fully sure exists. Be skeptical, not reassuring: [paste itinerary].

When the weather turns.

Timing and routing tips.

I'm flying from [city] to [destination] around [dates]. You can't see live prices, so instead tell me the cheapest months and days to fly this route, alternative airports worth checking, how far ahead to book, and any tricks to cut the fare. I'll check the actual prices myself.

Close, quick, worth it.

Suggest 3 weekend getaway options within [travel time] of [city] for [who], on a [budget]. For each, give the vibe, the one must-do, and a good area to stay.
